In 2025, World Vision Hong Kong created The Grainville, a comic story series that helps people understand the stark reality of hunger. In The Grainville, villagers lived peacefully until one day B Corn heard the voices of hungry children through the headphones. This discovery inspired B Corn, Batata Batata, Captain Bean and Care Wheat to recognise that a food crisis existed beyond their village.
In 2026, we launched The Grainville product series to encourage everyone to care for hungry children in their daily lives. There are two Collector’s Edition folders featuring beloved characters from The Grainville. Perfect for school, work, or home, they also make thoughtful gifts for friends and family, encouraging them to care for hungry children. Each folder has rounded corners for added safety and convenience, and comes in two special editions:

World Vision has always been dedicated to working hand in hand with communities and partners worldwide to tackle the hunger crisis fuelled by climate change, conflict, and poverty. Our work provides emergency food assistance and helps families and children overcome malnutrition. Alongside this immediate support, we remain equally committed to long‑term solutions for food security, including:
- Distribute cultivable and nutritious crops and seeds (such as maize, sweet potato, soybean and wheat).
- Provide nutrition subsidy as needed, bringing hope to the hungry children.
